Getting Started
What PhonicSky is
Phonics is the method that teaches children to read by connecting sounds to letters. PhonicSky turns that method into short, structured lessons that take children aged 3 to 9 from first sounds to reading on their own.
Creating your account
Create your free PhonicSky parent account in about two minutes. Start with the Seed level free for everyone, then add your child and upgrade whenever you're ready.
Adding your child's profile
Add your child as a learner before they start. The Add Learner form has three steps, but only the Profile step is required, so you can set them up in under a minute and fill in the rest later.
How the curriculum is organised
PhonicSky is built as four levels, each made of modules, chapters, and lessons. This page explains how those pieces fit together and what each level is designed to help your child do.
Choosing where to start and moving up
Every child starts at Seed, and here's why that's the right call even for kids who already know some letters. This page also covers the optional Skill Check and how your child moves up from one level to the next.
