Tracking your child's progress
Where to find progress
Open My Learners from the left menu. If you have more than one child, select the learner you want to see. Their learner dashboard opens, showing a snapshot of how they're doing. For the full breakdown, click View progress at the top right of that dashboard to open the Learning Progress page.
So there are two views: a quick snapshot on the learner dashboard, and the detailed Learning Progress page one click deeper.
The learner dashboard at a glance
The learner dashboard gives you the everyday picture:
- Practice habit: a small bar chart of the last 15 days, showing which days your child practised. It's the quickest way to see whether a routine is forming, and it's where the day streak comes from.
- Last activity: the most recent thing your child worked on, and when.
- Achievements: a running count of badges earned and stars collected.
The dashboard also shows each level (Seed, Seedling, Sprout, Bloom) with a short summary, and you can expand a level to see how many modules, chapters, and lessons your child has completed within it. Levels your child hasn't reached yet are marked as not started or coming soon.
The full Learning Progress page
Clicking View progress opens the complete picture. At the top you'll see four headline numbers for your child:
- Lessons done: total lessons completed across everything, for example 2 of 34.
- Total stars: all the stars your child has earned so far.
- Day streak: how many days in a row your child has practised.
- Badges earned: how many achievement badges they've unlocked.
Below that, the page lays out all four levels side by side as columns. Each column shows that level's progress at every depth: modules done, chapters done, and lessons done, with a percentage complete. You can look inside a level to see its individual modules (like Phonic Awareness or Letter Recognition), the chapters within each, and the specific lessons, each with its own completion state.
This is the view to open when you want the detail: not just "how far along," but exactly which concept your child is on right now and what's coming next.
Understanding stars and badges
Stars and badges are part of what keeps learning fun. As your child completes their work, they earn stars, a simple, visible reward that motivates children to keep going and celebrates the effort they're putting in. Badges mark bigger milestones along the way, such as finishing their first lesson, five lessons, a chapter, or a whole module. Together they turn steady progress into small, satisfying wins your child can see and be proud of.
Seeing progress for more than one child
If you have more than one learner, each child has their own separate progress. Go to My Learners, choose the child you want, and you'll see that child's dashboard and Learning Progress page. Switch learners anytime to check on each one.
Turning numbers into encouragement
The most useful thing you can do with the progress views is celebrate them with your child. A finished chapter, a new badge, a streak that's still going, these are all worth a "well done." Noticing the progress out loud is often what keeps a young reader wanting to come back tomorrow.
