Adding a seat for another child

What a seat is

A seat is one child's place on your subscription. Each seat unlocks every premium level, Seedling, Sprout, and Bloom, for one learner, along with their own profile, PIN, and progress.

Your Phonic Sounds Pro subscription includes one kid seat by default, which covers your first child. If you want another child to learn on their own profile, you add an add-on seat. Your plan supports up to three add-on seats, so you can have several children learning side by side, each with their own space.

What an add-on seat costs

An add-on seat is ₹5,900 per year (₹5,000 + ₹900 GST at 18%).

When you add a seat partway through your billing year, you're only charged for the months left in your current plan, so you never pay for time you won't use. After that, the seat renews at ₹5,900/year alongside your base plan, so everything renews together on the same date.

How to add a seat

You can add a seat from either the Subscription page or the Seats page.

From Subscription in the left menu, find the Add a kid seat panel. It shows the prorated price for your current billing period and what renews later. If you have a voucher code, you can add it here. Click Add seat to continue.

From Seats in the left menu, you'll see how many seats you're using (for example, "1 of 1 seats used"). Use Buy an Add-on Seat to add another.

Either way, payment is handled securely through Razorpay. Once payment goes through, the new seat is added to your account right away.

Assigning the seat to a child

Each seat is tied to one learner. Your included seat is assigned to your first child automatically. When you buy an add-on seat, it becomes available to assign to another child's profile. You can see all your seats and who they're assigned to on the Seats page, where each shows the child's name, their status, and when the seat was assigned.

Note that once a seat is assigned to a child, that assignment may be locked to that learner, so choose carefully when assigning.
